As a BDM your sole focus will be to bring on new business for the company from SME businesses to enterprises.
You will be expected to conduct your own research into businesses which are appropriate to prospect and ensure you are able to articulate the businesses products and services through cold-calls, emails and inmails.
Whilst you will be expected to book meetings and qualify meetings for your managers, you will also be given the responsibility to conduct online demonstrations yourself with smaller businesses.
On top of this, you will also be given the experience to attend F2F client meetings yourself with managers.
You will also deal with inbound leads (around 20% - from calls and website), whilst the majority of the role will be to generate new leads through research and prospecting new accounts.
